Roy Dunshee - Head Coach - 1st Season


Roy Dunshee is the Director of Coerver Coaching in the States of Maryland and Illinois and has been active as a Coerver Coach for over a decade.  In addition to coaching youth teams, Coach Dunshee is an instructor of coaches for the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association.  He holds a Premier Diploma from the NSCAA, a “B” License from the US Soccer Federation and a National “Y” License from the US Youth Soccer Association.

 

Coach Dunshee was a scholarship player at the University of South Carolina and still enjoys a good run in the Over-40 Leagues.

 


Stan Malm - Assistant Coach - 6th Season
Stan Malm is a 1975 graduate of Severna Park High School. This is his 6th year back at Severna Park. Stan holds a USSF D License and Dutch Intermediate License. Stan has coached at the youth level for many years and is the former Head Coach of the U-19 Freestate Dragons, 2-time Division 1 Champions.

He has coached in the Super Youth League and is the former Director of Training for the Central East District Development Program for the MSYSA.   He has also coached for the Olympic Development Program for the U16 boys and assists with player selection every year.

 

 

 

 

Zak Thompson - JV Head Coach - 2nd Season

Coach Thompson returns for his second season at the helm of the Falcons’ JV program.

A goalkeeper at DeMatha, Boston University and Towson State (where he earned the nickname "Spiderman"), Coach Thompson played for the Virginia Legacy in Williamsburg, VA during the 2007 PDL season before spending the 2008 season with Crystal Palace USA, the Baltimore based USL-team owned and operated by the famous London, England team of the same name.

 

 

 

 

 

Ryan Parisi - Assistant Coach - 1st Season

Ryan Parisi is the business Director for Coerver Coaching of Maryland.  He played four years of varsity soccer at Bentley College in Boston and is still an elite player. 

Coach Ryan trains several local club teams and holds an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and a US Soccer Federation National C License.

 

 

 

 

 

Rick Stimpson - Assistant Coach - 1st Season


Rick Stimpson is the Director of Training for Coerver Coaching in the State of Maryland.   “Coach Stimmo” was a three time All-Ivy League Player at Cornell University where he holds the career assist record.  He represented his native England in the World University Games in 1999 and played professionally with the Boston Bulldogs of the USL.  

Coach Stimpson has coached at the high school and college levels and brings a wealth of soccer experience to the Severna Park program.  He holds an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.





Johan de Vicq - Goalkeeper Coach - 4th Season


Coach de Vicq was born and raised in the Netherlands and has been playing soccer since he was old enough to identify a ball. A product of the Xerxes Rotterdam youth system (Dutch 1st Division – Amateurs) he has played in events in Holland, Continental Europe, England and the US (Including work-outs with Bolton Wanderers and Blackpool FC).

Coach Johan holds “D”, “E” and “F” coaching licenses from the US Soccer Federation (USSF), “State”, “Regional” and “National” Goalkeeping Coach licenses from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) as well as multiple certificates from the English Football Association (FA).  He is still an active player in several local “Geezer” leagues.
